No car meant a slow rise this morning and lots of cuddles waiting for the rain to pass. Hot buttery toast for breakfast and some Sunday housework before collecting the car later this afternoon after its ‘bodge’ fix which should hopefully see us through for a few more months (We hope!). We then went for a relaxed afternoon walk and soaked in the autumn colours; after we tried to find somewhere to buy some pumpkins to carve after the car breakdown scuppered our Halloween weekend plans. A huge Sunday roast to finish things off and now back full circle, writing this, wrapped up in my duvet once again.
