Affirmations To Avoid Burnout
Avoiding Burnout
Are you feeling run down and stressed out? Do you feel like you can't keep up with the demands of everyday life? You are not alone.
Many people, especially creative people suffer from burnout, myself included. Sometimes it feels like there is so much to juggle, with a business, children, trying to keep up with hobbies and a sprinkle of self-care, but don't worry, I wanted to share with you some affirmations that I use to help me to stay sane and productive during times of stress and when the overwhelm starts to creep in.
Here We Go:
Affirmation #01: I am capable of handling whatever comes my way with a mindful and calm approach.
Affirmation #02: I have the strength and resilience to get through anything.
Affirmation #03: I am in control of my own life, decisions, and journey that I am on.
Affirmation #04: I am doing the best that I can, and that is good enough.
Affirmation #05: I am grateful for all the good in my life, even when things are tough.
Affirmation #06: I am open to change and new possibilities.
Affirmation #07: I am relaxed and at ease, even in times of stress.
Affirmation #08: Difficult situations do not define me, I am bigger than any problem that comes my way.
Affirmation #09: I am resilient and can handle whatever life throws at me.
Affirmation #10: Everything is happening for a reason, and I am exactly where I need to be.
Affirmation #11: I am open to new opportunities and possibilities.
Affirmation #12: I am grateful for all that I have in my life.
Affirmation #13: I am at peace with myself and the world around me.
Burnout can take months to recover from. You need to take it steady and prioritise yourself and avoid burnout, even if it means taking a little break or time away from an aspect of your carer or life that is the core of the stress or overwhelm. Having a few days off could potentially help you avoid months of recovery from a larger burnout. Use these affirmations to help you stay mindful, positive and relaxed during times of stress. They can be a reminder that you are in control of your life and your journey, no matter what challenges come your way. And most importantly, always remember to take care of yourself first.
Burnout is something that I have managed to avoid for the better part of 6 months now, which when I think about it seems somewhat impossible considering that 7 months ago I had a baby. I think for me, it is down to one affirmation. ‘I am in control of my own life, decisions, and journey that I am on.’ it is about taking that control and ownership of your situations, having self-accountability and self-motivation. Above all, this is what has helped me to avoid burnout and start to really let my business truly thrive.
